Don't forget Vincent Who?

It’s almost here! Don’t forget Vincent Who? Tomorrow at noon in Bldg. 23!

Feel free to bring your lunch, we will have tables set up in the back for people to eat their lunch during the presentation. Also if you are a faculty person who is sending your students for credit but not able to attend yourself, please provide me with a roster or sign-in sheet so they can get proper credit for attending this educational opportunity!

Vincent Who? Why is he important?

In Detroit, Mich., in 1982, Vincent Chin was brutally murdered because of the shape of his eyes and the color of his skin. Still you say, Vincent who?

“Vincent Who?” Is a documentary of how his death raised questions about the prejudices in our judicial system, raising awareness of multicultural differences, stereotyping and changed U. S. History. Yet the common American does not know who Vincent Chin is. Meet the author and director Curtis Chin for a presentation of the Documentary “Vincent Who?” and a special Q&A session afterwards. Come November 15th at 12pm to find out! Help us spread the word to students & staff

Want another Hint?
His death and the trial of his murderers, sparked outrage across the U.S. and inspired a quiet, obedient Chinese housewife to become an outspoken, nationally acclaimed political activist who fought to bring together Asian Americans to be heard with one voice. Vincent Who?
