Clover Park Technical College welcomed its 7th group of students from the Civil Aviation Flight University of China into our Aviation Maintenance Technician Program at the South Hill Campus in Puyallup during the Fall Quarter of 2012.
In China, there
have been significant and rapid changes in the civil aviation industry and the
demand for aircraft maintenance technicians that are qualified to work on
airplanes of foreign airlines is dramatically increasing. CPTC’s
partnership with CAFUC started in 2008. Once these students have completed
their degree requirements here in the U.S., they will be able to return to
China and earn their Bachelor’s degree from their university. So far, fourteen
CAFUC students have graduated from our AMT program, and we currently have
twenty students in the program.
Please give them a warm welcome!
