CPTC STUDENT CONTRIBUTES TO NATIONAL WEBINAR

Edison Justiniano III, a recent graduate of CPTC's Computer Networking and Information Security program, spoke and contributed a multimedia presentation to a national online audience of more than 40 educators as part of a Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources webinar 22 May entitled "Public Speaking with the Open Course Library."

Edison created a dazzling commemorative multimedia production while enrolled in CMST&220. He offered his perspective in the webinar on the challenges of taking a general education course alongside computer studies, noted the value of online materials in the course, and described how he created his multimedia production.

Viewers and listeners to the webinar tuned in from Washington, Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, California, Kentucky, and Alaska. Discussion was led by Una Daly from the Open Courseware Consortium and included presentations by Ellen Bremen from Highline Community College and Phil Venditti from CPTC.
