The International Student Programs and the Student Services Office organized an end-of-the-year BBQ for faculty, international students and their host families August 17 at South Hill campus. Over 45 students and guests attended the event. All students introduced themselves and their host families. Many of them expressed their gratitude for their learning experience at Clover Park Technical College. They also gave heartfelt thanks to their host families for their help in becoming familiar with customs in the United States. Ryan Strayer and Gary Robotkay from the International Club also participated and gave a welcome to the international students. Thanks to the Foundation for making the BBQ possible. The pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad made for an all American picnic. The International Club treated everyone to cake for desert. Wesley Coffee, custodian was especially helpful with the set up for the outside event.
